SOLUTION 04 — GOVERNED KNOWLEDGE
A knowledge assistant that knows its limits.
The worst knowledge assistant is the one that answers everything: blending sources it doesn't have with confidence it hasn't earned. Seamless Enterprise internal assistants are docked by enablement and role — they answer in your context and permissions, and say "I don't have that source" plainly.
The knowledge assistant in Seamless Enterprise is a set of internal assistants the organization creates and docks to specific sources: an employee gets answers only from the sources enabled for their role, an un-enabled source doesn't exist for them — and behind every answer is an entry showing who asked and what was opened.
A source not enabled for your role does not appear in any answer.
DOCKED, NOT FLOATING
The difference isn't intelligence — it's the docking.
A general assistant answers from everywhere and knows nothing of your organization. Your organization's assistant answers only from what you enabled: what the organization hasn't enabled enters no answer, and whoever lacks the role never sees the source at all.
- Created by the organization. Internal assistants with named jobs — not public black boxes.
- Docked by enablement and role. A source opens by a recorded decision, and the role bounds what is seen.
- Refusals are recorded. Just like answers — the full story lives in the register.
“What is the travel-reimbursement policy?” — an answer from the policy manual, in clear Arabic, with its source shown.
“What are the engineering salaries?” — “That source isn't enabled for your role.” A clear refusal, with a declared path to request enablement.
SOURCES × ROLES
Who may ask what — a drawn decision, not improvisation.
The matrix below is the shape of the decision, not its final copy: your sources and roles are drawn with you, and change by a recorded decision.
| ROLE | POLICY MANUAL | FINANCE FOLDER | OPERATIONS KB | HR ARCHIVE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Employee | ● | ○ | ◐ by department | ○ |
| Finance analyst | ● | ● | ◐ with approval | ○ |
| HR partner | ● | ○ | ○ | ● |
YOUR CONTEXT, YOUR LIMITS
An answer in your context — and humility when something's missing.
An un-enabled source isn't forbidden — it doesn't exist.
- In your context. Your organization's terms and documents — Arabic-first, with English at parity.
- Within your permissions. The answer is built from what your role may reach — nothing more.
- With humility. When a source is missing, it says so — instead of guessing confidently.
Try it on a case of yours.
Bring one real question from your work and one source to the session — and watch the answer, the source, and the entry behind it.
EVALUATION QUESTIONS
Asked before the first source is docked.
How accurate are the answers?
It answers from enabled sources and shows where the answer came from, and when context is missing it says so instead of guessing. We publish no accuracy numbers before a documented evaluation — any figures on our pages are labeled illustrative.
Can it answer beyond my permission?
No — permission is checked before the assistant reaches any source, not after it answers. An attempt beyond permission ends in a clear refusal, recorded in the register just like a success.
How does it perform in Arabic?
Arabic is the origin of the experience, not its translation: interface, understanding, answers, and the register are Arabic-first with English at parity — because our organizations' documents live in both languages.
