The entry an auditor opens is the same event that reaches your monitoring stack: who, under which permission, on which lane, with what outcome. One shape of the truth keeps the versions from drifting apart.
- An entry that answers alone. Who asked, what was checked, what was decided, at what cost — without opening a second system.
- A denial is a full event. The denial entry carries the rule and the reason — because what didn't happen is evidence too.
- The shape is a declared draft. The v0 shape is published so your technical team reviews it early — the final ships with the technical document.

How long is the register retained?
Your organization's policy decides — retention is a declared setting in the plane, not an imposed fate, and changing it is an entry like any entry. The deployment home you choose determines where the copies live for the duration.
Do events arrive instantly or in batches?
Inside the platform the entry is written as it happens; the external feed runs at your cadence: near-real-time streaming for live monitoring, or scheduled batches for archiving — the setting is yours.
Does the register contain the conversation content itself?
The register writes the declared metadata: who, when, which source and lane, what was decided. Retaining content — and who may see it — is a policy decision your organization owns; we lay out the options and what each costs in privacy and trust, plainly and in detail, before go-live.
Is administrators' access to the register itself observed?
Yes — reading the register is itself a permission, and sensitive admin actions are full entries. The same candor faces the employee: their page tells them what is recorded about their usage.
